The Problem

Most small-business capital passes through too many hands.

By the time a file reaches the funder, it's been re-priced, re-shopped, and re-summarized by people who never speak to the operator. The terms an owner sees at intake are rarely the terms they sign.

01 Brokers shop the same file to ten funders — credit pulls multiply, the offer worsens.
02 Pricing shifts twice between the soft quote and the wire — terms are not the terms.
03 After funding, the owner is handed off to a servicing desk that does not know the file.
The VJ BH Difference

A direct desk. Same number, same people, same file.

VJ BH Deals underwrites and funds from its own balance sheet. Each application moves through one underwriter, one decision, one wire. The terms quoted at intake are the terms signed at closing — without revision, without re-shopping, without surprise.

If a file does not fit our book, we say so the same day. We do not hand it off.

How a file moves

Three phases. One desk.

i.

Intake

A short application and three months of business bank statements. No hard credit pull. The file lands directly on an underwriter's desk — not a queue, not a routing tier.

Typical Window — Same Hour
ii.

Read

Deposits, debt service, season, sector. We read the file as an operator would — what the cash actually does, not what the FICO suggests. A real conversation if anything is unclear.

Typical Window — Same Day
iii.

Wire

Terms are quoted in writing before any signature. The factor, the schedule, the total cost — all of it, in plain language. Wire goes out the morning after countersign.

Typical Window — Next Morning
Programs

What we underwrite.

i. Merchant Cash Advance

Commercial MCA

A purchase of future receivables — repaid as a fixed percentage of daily or weekly deposits. Best when revenue is rhythmic but seasonal, and the operator needs liquidity without monthly amortization.

  • $10,000 – $500,000 typical ticket
  • 3 – 18 month payback schedule
  • Daily or weekly ACH
  • No personal guarantee on most files
ii. Revenue-Based Financing

RBF — Operating Capital

A structured advance against forward revenue, repaid on a transparent payment schedule. Designed for businesses with steady deposits that want predictability instead of float-tracking.

  • $25,000 – $750,000 typical ticket
  • 6 – 36 month term range
  • Weekly or monthly schedule
  • Renewable on performance
Begin

If the file is ready, the wire is close.

A short application opens the conversation. If your operation fits our book, you'll hear a real answer the same day — and the terms you read at intake will be the terms you sign.

The Approach

A direct desk, read straight through.

A short note on what we are, what we are not, and how files actually move through the building.

VJ BH Deals Inc is a direct funder of small-to-mid-market commercial financing. We deploy our own capital, underwrite in-house, and wire from the same desk that read the file. There is no broker layer between an applicant and our balance sheet, and there is no servicing handoff after a wire clears.

We chose the structure deliberately. Most of the friction in commercial cash-flow capital sits in the chain itself — the broker who collects, the funder who re-prices, the desk that services, the operator who calls in and gets routed. Each handoff is a place where the file gets re-summarized by someone with less context than the person before them. Each handoff is also a place where the terms drift.

"The terms an operator reads at intake should be the terms they sign at closing — without revision." — The VJ BH House Rule

So we run flat. One underwriter holds a file from the first PDF to the last wire confirmation. The same person who quotes the factor signs the contract and follows up after funding. The same email thread carries through. There is no internal queue your file gets passed to. There is no servicing portal you call into where the agent is reading a script for the first time.

What this means in practice: we say less. We do not shop your application. We do not return three days later with a re-priced offer. We do not promise a number we can't honor. If the file does not fit the book, we say so on the call and explain why — sometimes that is the most useful answer an operator gets all week.

What we read carefully: deposit consistency, debt service against cash flow, the operator's read of their own season, the way receivables move. FICO matters, but it is the smallest variable on a healthy file. Operators who run lean books with consistent deposits get our attention, even with positions or a credit dip.

We are not for every file. We are not the right call for SBA, equipment leasing, real estate, or consumer products. We do not broker. If a file would be better served by a bank, we say so and step back. Our work is one clean lane: commercial cash-flow capital, direct, from principal, with one desk on the file.

The Programs

Two products. Both direct.

VJ BH writes two commercial cash-flow products from its own balance sheet. The desk reads each file once and recommends whichever schedule actually fits the operator — sometimes neither, in which case we say so.

Product i. · MCA

Commercial Merchant Cash Advance

A purchase of future receivables — VJ BH advances capital today against a fixed factor of forward deposits, repaid as a percentage of daily or weekly inflows. The right shape for businesses with strong but uneven deposit rhythm, where a fixed monthly payment would create cash-flow strain in slow weeks.

Product ii. · RBF

Revenue-Based Financing

A structured advance against forward revenue, repaid on a transparent fixed schedule rather than as a percentage of float. Designed for operators with predictable monthly revenue who prefer a known payment number on the books — and who want renewability tied to performance, not to a re-application loop.

In-Book Renewal

Operators we've already funded who have paid as agreed are eligible for an in-book renewal — often at a better factor, sometimes alongside the remaining balance, always with the same desk. We do not require a fresh broker submission, a re-shop, or a re-pricing exercise.

Inquiries

Questions, answered straight.

The questions an operator typically asks before sending a file. If yours is not here, write the desk directly — you will hear a real answer.

Are you a broker or a direct funder?
VJ BH Deals is a direct funder. We underwrite from our own balance sheet and wire from our own account. There is no broker layer between an applicant and the desk that reads the file. If a file does not fit our book, we say so the same day — we do not shop it.
What does the desk need at intake?
A short application and the most recent three months of business bank statements. That is the start. No hard credit pull at intake. The desk may request additional documentation depending on program and ticket size, and we will always say exactly what is needed.
What if my business already carries positions?
The desk works with stacked files regularly. Depending on revenue, deposit absorption, and current exposure, positions can sometimes be consolidated into a single schedule — or new capital written alongside what is already in place. Honest disclosure of current positions is required. The desk reads the full picture and offers real options.
How quickly can you make a decision?
Most files receive a same-business-day read. Clean files with full documentation can be approved and funded within 24–48 hours from initial intake. The wait, when there is one, is usually waiting on documentation — not on our side of the desk.
What are the minimum qualifications?
Generally six months in operation, $15,000+ in monthly revenue, and an active business bank account. FICO matters but is not everything — strong, consistent deposits absorb a great deal. Apply and the desk will say exactly where the file stands.
What does this actually cost?
Our products price on a factor-rate basis, typically ranging from 1.17 to 1.49 depending on file strength, term, and program. As an example: a $10,000 advance at a 1.30 factor returns $13,000 over the schedule — that is $3,000 in total cost, disclosed in writing before any signature. There are no application fees, no hidden charges, and no surprise add-ons.
Who is on the file after funding?
The same team that wrote it. The desk does not vanish after the wire clears — there is a direct line to the people managing the account for renewals, schedule questions, or anything else that comes up. One number, one team, one continuous relationship.
Do you offer SBA loans, equipment leasing, or real estate financing?
No. We are a focused commercial cash-flow desk and do not pretend otherwise. If your operation needs an SBA product, a long-amortization bank loan, an equipment lease, or real-estate-backed financing, we will say so plainly and recommend you speak to a bank or an institutional product team.

Merchant cash advances and revenue-based financing are commercial transactions, not loans. APR does not apply. These products are not subject to state lending license requirements.

What We Don't Do

Direct Funder · Not a Referral Source

VJ BH Deals funds revenue-based and merchant cash advance products from its own balance sheet. We do not broker SBA loans, we do not refer files to bank lenders, and we do not shop your application to third parties. If your operation needs a bank product, your bank is the right call — not us.

Our products are commercial financing transactions, not consumer loans. We do not hold a lending license and do not need one for these products.
